Mama Elephant Highlight: Rustic Spring

Good morning! Here for another Mama Elephant highlight of Rustic Spring. It is a perfect set for tag or card making!

Spring is right around the corner and this set is perfect to welcome it. When I saw the set, I knew I had to create a cute little spring scene, including yellow birdies, a birdhouse, and fluffy green grass. The nest is a real bonus. Turn it different ways to create the look of grass!

Mama Elephant Highlight: Modern Borders

Good morning! Mama Elephant's Modern Borders is here to brighten your Monday. I absolutely love the twist on the typical zig zag. I used the crosshatch zig zag stamp to create some fun swiss-dot-like chevrons in varying tones. To simply finish the card off, I added a stamped heart and the cute sentiment.

Mama Elephant Highlight: Say What

Hope you're having a relaxing Sunday! Here for another Mama Elephant highlight of Say What. It is full of lovely sentiments. I made a friendship card using all these perfect sentiments from the set and I topped it off with the Gemini girls from Cosmic Stars.

Materials used: Mama Elephant Say What, Cosmic StarsCopic Sketch Markers, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, Clearsnap ColorBox Chalk Ink Pad, scallop square punch

To create the background, I put all of the sentiments on a large acrylic block and stamped it twice. To give this fairly monotone card, I gave the dresses an ombre design to give the card just a subtle pop of color. Finally, to give the card some additional dimension, I framed the image with a scallop mat and raised it with foam tape.

Tell me this isn't one of the best stamp sets everrrrr!

Mama Elephant Highlight: So Breezy

Hello! Hope you're having a super Saturday. I'm here today to highlight Mama Elephant's So Breezy stamp set. As soon as I saw the set, I knew I had to pair it with the U.S. map from Geotagged. Inspired by a pirate's secret map, I turned the plus sign into an X to mark the spot we're wishing joy and lots of confetti hearts to. The heart dashed line when stamped edge to edge gives it a perfect trail. To finish it off, I added the sentiment to follow the dashed line.

Materials used: Mama Elephant So Breezy, Geotagged, Midnight Letters; CTMH ink pads, ColorBox Cat's Eye Inks, heart punch

Head on over to the Mama Elephant store now to get this set:

For my Mama Elephant February Stampede project, I created a layout. My husband and I pretty much text in pictures. The ME Say What stamp set is perfect for scrapbooking dialogue and conversations. I used a bevy of sentiments from the set and created a grid by sewing clear pockets to the layout.

Here's a closer look at the details:

I stamped the "Say What" sentiment and the arrow on a punched tab. The arrow is perfect here because when you flip the pocket, there's some hidden journaling appropriately hiding behind "Say What?"

I like keeping more personal thoughts and messages tucked away and keeping the layout clean with more of a focus on the photos and letting them speak for themselves.

For the "Heeeeyyyyy" banner trio, I clipped the super cute stamp, "Heeeeyyyyy Sexy Lady" and shaped it to the curves of the ribbon banners to create my layout title. The best thing is that I can put the stamp together just as easily when I want to use the entire sentiment. A perfect stamp set for all of your scrapbooking and card-making needs. Happy stamping!
